The famous sacred valley, named this way by the Incas, is located to the south of country, a few kilometers from the city of Loja, capital of the province of the same name. Arabic Typica coffee is basically produced here, at an altitude of 1200 m above sea level. The altitude and climate of this region are privileged, and its temperature oscillates between 18ºC and 25ºC. it has even been called "the lost paradise", because its generous soil practically doesn't need to be worked on to produce fruits that provide food to the inhabitants of this valle.
