In 1835 Charles Darwin finished his scientific trip by the Galápagos Islands and decides to write his famous book " origin of the Species ". This islands are located at 1.000 Kms from the continent, and are constituted by 7 great islands 12 small islands and 42 keys.

San Cristobal. the third greatest one (588,50 km), was where in 1875 French agronomists, cultivated a special variety of Arabic coffee. This fine coffee is called " Antiguo Bourbon ".

In the original plantation, the property was formed " the Coffee plantation - San Cristobal ", who has continued the tradition to cultivate Old Bourbon in his 400 hectares. This property is located in mountains of San Cristobal, where the flora is abundant and the coffee plants grow under a forest pavilion.

 

The balanced Ecosystem, offers the propitious condition, that allows the Bourbon coffee to grow and to be developed of autentic and delicius form .
